A spectacle frame which has a border and a bow (ear-piece) (3) which is connected to the border by means of a joint (1), contains a spring arrangement (11) in hinge parts (2A, 2B) which are fastened to the bow (3) and to the joint (1). As a result, the spring arrangement ensures that the spectacle frame can be firmly and comfortably put onto the head of the spectacle wearer, size and weight being low. <IMAGE>
