METHOD FOR SEARCHING IDLE RELAY LINE OF SWITCHING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for searching an idle relay line of a switching system is provided to quickly search an idle relay line and provides a call service by using a link-list of idle lines. CONSTITUTION: When a call is requested, a relay line of an idle relay line link-list indicated by a relay line pointer is selected as a service relay line. The selected relay line is deleted from the idle relay line link-list and the next idle relay line number is registered at the relay line pointer. After a call service is terminated, the relay line is restored by being inserted into the idle relay line link-list. Thus, by constructing the link-list of idle relay lines belonging to an arbitrary route, and providing the relay line pointer, relay lines can be managed effectively, a regular processing time is guaranteed, and performance in searching a relay line can be improved.
