PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic range capable of securing an effective heating region till the proximity of the outer periphery of a vessel and satisfactorily performing frying and frizzling. SOLUTION: Heating elements 25 are disposed around an induction heating coil 24 for heating by induction the heated vessel M placed on a top plate 23. Thus, the proximity of the outer periphery of the vessel M can be also heated by radiant heat from the heating elements 25. For example, in cooking using a Chinese wok, the temperature of oil F near the outer periphery Mb of the Chinese wok M is increased by the heating elements 25, the oil can be sufficiently caught by foodstuff in a chattering state, and unnecessary moisture can be removed by hot air convection near the outer periphery Mb. |
