PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stretchable fabric which is thin, has a flat touch, and has elegant gloss, drape, dry touch and scroop characteristic to silk. SOLUTION: The covered yarn comprising a core yarn and a sheath yarn is characterized by using a side-by-side type or eccentric sheath-core type polyester-based conjugate fiber yarn comprising polyethylene terephthalate as a main component and polytrimethylene terephthalate as another component as the core yarn and further using a silk yarn as the sheath yarn.
