PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary material for vacuum packaging and a vacuum packaging pack in which the vacuum packaging can be performed without breaking the shape of an article to be packed. SOLUTION: A substantially semi-spherical large diameter part 12 is formed of a resin. A small diameter part 14 which is smaller in diameter than the large diameter part 12 and substantially spherical in a tip part 14b is swollen from a spherical top part 12a of the large diameter part 12. The substantially spherical tip part 14b is formed on a tip of a cylindrical swollen part 12a. The large diameter part 12 and the small diameter part 14 are integrated with each other by a thin-walled resin, and a thick-walled edge part 18 is formed on a circumferential edge part of an opening of the large diameter part 12.
