PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which shortens a period necessary for a room temperature to reach a preset temperature after starting the air conditioner and uniformize even more a distribution of the room temperature and thus satisfy customers. SOLUTION: According to a comparison between the preset temperature and a temperature detected by sensors 21 and 22 disposed on a plurality of places in a room, not only a blow-off direction of air blown from the conditioner is controlled vertically and horizontally but also an air amount is controlled. Thereby the room temperature is unified.
