PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which extracts necessary information about railroad facilities with a small quantity of work. SOLUTION: The method for extracting necessary information about railroad facilities uses a CAD system into which a rough wiring diagram is input, comprising registration of components of the railroad facilities in the CAD system, correlating the components of the railroad facilities with each other by using the coordinates of the components of the railroad facilities in the rough wiring diagram and extracting necessary information about the railroad facilities. Thus, the device extracting necessary information about railroad facilities with a small quantity of work is provided.
