PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for recording image-attached information and an imaging apparatus that can prevent the leakage of information attached to image data and simply perform reading and revision processing of the attached information so as to avoid missing of information attended with image edit. SOLUTION: The attached information related to image data is encrypted by each type of information and the encrypted attached information is recorded on the file header of the image data. Further, information with respect to an image output device such as a printer and a display device (hereinafter called output device information) is recorded in advance in a camera processing information required when the image of the image data acquired by photographing is outputted by the image output device is generated, the attached information including the processing information is encrypted and the encrypted attached information is recorded to the file header of the image data. |
