The electrical power switch has a movable contact [4] that is moved relative to a fixed contact [3] by an actuator system [15] coupled by a linkage system [[6-8]. The linkage system includes a facility to prevent contact bounce. A pivot mounted link [7] has a pin [30] that moves to engage a claw ended link [29] at first opening and so retains the contact.
