<p>The invention relates to a fuel injection valve (1), especially an injection valve for fuel injection devices of internal combustion engines. Said fuel injection valve comprises a piezoelectric or magnetostrictive actuator (4), and actuates, by means of a hydraulic coupler (23), a valve closing body (25) formed on a valve needle (24). Said valve closing body co-operates with a valve seat surface (26) to form a sealed valve seat (27). Said coupler (23) comprises a master piston (14) and a slave piston (19) which are connected to a pressure chamber (42), and at least one coupler spring element which respectively exerts a pre-stressing force on the master piston (14) counter to a working direction and on the slave piston (19) in a working direction. The pressure chamber (42) of the coupler (23) is connected to a fuel admission in the direction of the flow towards the pressure chamber (42) by means of an admission borehole (20) and a return valve.</p> |
