PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print head device having a simple constitution for printing a plurality of lines concurrently, being inexpensive, and capable of improving workability including mounting/adjustment and maintenance. SOLUTION: A single device body 10 is equipped with a plurality of groups, each of which is constituted of a plurality of dot pins 12 arranged so as to correspond to the height of a line of characters. Gap forming parts are arranged between the plurality of groups in order to set up a width corresponding to the line space and enable to print leaving spaces between the lines. The print head device has a simple constitution only to set up the gap forming parts between the plurality of groups, and the width of line space of character strings printed over a plurality of lines can be freely set by changing the size of the gap forming parts. The workability can be improved as the works including mounting/adjustment and maintenance are carried out at one time.
