PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel spraying combustion apparatus capable of stable combustion over a low combustion rate to a high combustion rate. SOLUTION: There are provided a combustion apparatus 1, a nozzle 2, a first pump 3, a second pump 4, a flow rate control valve 5, a tank 6, and check valves 7, 8. The first pump is one where a relief mechanism is provided on a pump body 13, and can change discharge pressure as a whole. Although the amount of a fuel sprayed from the nozzle 2 is determined with an opening of the flow rate control valve 5, the first pump 3 has a function of changing over the discharge pressure, and there are two ways of supply pressure to the flow rate control valve 5.
