PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anticlouding material keeping excellent anticlouding performance for a long period not only in an environment having relatively low humidity such as a lavatory but also in a highly humid environment such as a bathroom and having excellent removability of chemicals attached to an object and provide a method for the production of the material and a set of the anticlouding coating agent. SOLUTION: The method for the production of an anticlouding material comprises a step to apply a 1st composition at least containing (a) a water- absorbing organic polymer and (b) a 1st solvent to the surface of a substrate and a step to apply a 2nd composition at least containing (c) a hydrophilic inorganic oxide, (d) an organosilane containing a polyalkylene oxide group in the molecule or its hydrolyzed product and (e) a 2nd solvent to the surface of the 1st composition coating and cure the applied 2nd composition.
