PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature/humidity adjusting device and a method for environmental test by which a required temperature/humidity environment can be realized quickly. SOLUTION: The temperature/humidity adjusting device is composed of a constant temperature oven 1 which can house a sample and maintain the sample at a fixed temperature and gas adjusting vessels 2 and 3 for adjusting temperature and humidity. The vessels 2 and 3 are connected to the oven 1 through gas supply pipelines respectively having cutoff valves 7 and 10 and an atmosphere adjusted to a prescribe temperature and humidity is introduced into the oven 1.
