PURPOSE: A hinge assembly for door of kimchi storage is provided to increase productivity by simplifying process and to stably open and close the door. CONSTITUTION: A hinge assembly comprises a hinge housing(70), which is secured by a cover plate(100), which covers a compartment of which one side is opened, on the one side of the main body(6); a rotating member(50) including a compartment, which is secured on the rear surface of a door(5) and which is connected to the hinge housing so as to rotate through a hinge axis and of which one side is opened; a press piece(65) including a square type body unit mounted on the one end of the rotating member of which one end is of semicircular type so as to rotate; a support piece(90) including a semicircular type cam surface recessed so that the press piece slide inside the compartment of the hinge housing by roll-contacting with the cam unit and on the opposite side of which a coupling slot is formed; a pair of spring members(80) impressing an elastic restoring force which is subject to the pressing force of the pressing piece by fitting to the spring-coupling slot(92) of the support piece; a control panel(84) connected to an adjusting screw(120), which supports the lower side of the spring member and is penetrated to the outside of the hinge housing so as to adjust the elastic restoring force of the spring member.
