PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a path search setting device capable of detecting a path search window precisely. SOLUTION: The path search setting device is provided with a plurality of effective path detectors having a correlating device for correlating the same spreading code as that used on a transmitting side and a received signal, an averaging means for averaging the correlation value outputted by the correlating device through a prescribed period, and a comparing means for comparing the average value outputted by the averaging means with a threshold to indicate the possibility of the existence of an effective path by each sector; a shifting determining device which determines shifting to the determination of the path search window when even a single effective path exists in plurality of sectors; a path search window determining device for determining a sector to be used for path search, and the path search window in the sector by the number of the effective paths in each sector and the number of effective paths in a slot; and a sector selector consisting of a selector for selecting the output of the effective path detectors corresponding to the selector determined by the path search window determining means. |
