PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wear powder of a brush from entering an armature winding side by devising the draft direction of cooling air inside a motor, and to extend a maintenance interval by increasing the arrangement area of an air filter for increasing the amount of dust suction. SOLUTION: When a blowing fan 13 is driven by energizing a fan motor 12, air cleaned of the dust or the like by respective air filter units 35, 36, is fed from a cooling air intake 7 to the inside of the motor 1, and is discharged to the outside, passing through the inside of the motor 1 via a cooling air discharging port 8 and a cooling air exhaust chamber 34. In the flowing direction of the cooling air, an armature and a brush 6 is on the downstream side, which prevents the wear powder of the brush 6 from entering a rotor 4. A draft box 31 is upsized and a plurality of air filter units 35, 36 are respectively attached to the plurality of surfaces thereof, so that the whole amount of dust suction of the air filter is increased. Thus, the replacement interval of the air filter can be increased.
