According to the invention, the user of an electrical shaving apparatus should be permitted a well illuminated shave at any time, whereby the shaving apparatus comprises a dedicated illumination device, arranged in or on the apparatus. Possible variations with regard to the mounting of the device in or on the shaving apparatus are provided as well as possible variations concerning the intensity and distribution of the emitted light and the direction of emission. Furthermore, a switching on and off for the light emission, dependent on skin contact is provided. |
