FIELD: chemical industry; instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in acting on carbon-containing specimen by pressure and temperature created during passage of electric current pulse through conductor located inside specimen; conductors are additionally placed in specimen at equal distance relative to one another and from central conductor; total energy generated by them shall be equal to 900- 3370 J per 0.2 g of carbon in carbon-containing specimen; it is preferable to use six conductors. Proposed method provides for obtaining large crystals and ensuring required conditions for synthesis over entire volume of specimen. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 cl, 3 dwg, 1 ex
