SOLUTION: The fall prevention device of the structure shutter 31 having a shutter body 34 capable of closing an opening section of a structure, a wire 35 for hanging the shutter body 34 and a take-in section for lifting and lowering the shutter body 34 by the wire 35 includes a mounting section 2 mounted to the shutter body 34, a stopper 3 connected to the wire 35 and a locking section 4 capable of locking the stopper 3, the stopper 3 is in a non-projected state to a mounting section 2 and is not interlocked with the locking section 4 when force in the take-in direction applied to the wire 35 is in excess of a predetermined value, it is in a projected state to interlock with the locking section 4 when the force in the take-in direction is less than a predetermined value, and the locking section 4 includes a locking bar 12 with which the stopper 3 is interlocked.
