摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable speed control device for a transmission with a toroidal continuously variable speed mechanism for achieving shift ratio control in high follow-up response to a target shift ratio with quick shifting operation in such a condition that sudden shifting operation is required at sudden deceleration or acceleration by using feed forward compensation for an actuator command value without causing hunting in normal control or involving the setting of a difficult target shift ratio. SOLUTION: The variable speed control device for the transmission with the toroidal continuously variable speed mechanism comprises actual tilting angle calculating means for calculating the actual tilting angle of a trunnion, target tilting angle calculating means for calculating the target tilting angle of the trunnion from a target shift ratio, target tilting speed calculating means for calculating the target tilting speed of the toroidal variable speed mechanism from the calculated actual tilting angle and target tilting angle, power roller displacement calculating means for calculating the displacement of a power roller in the axial direction of tilting the trunnion corresponding to the calculated target tilting angle, and actuator command value correcting means for correcting the actuator command value according to the calculated displacement of the power roller.
