PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a method of stretching and removing an endless conveyor belt or web 1 on and from a frame 2 in a printing machine, for example, so as to economically stretch or remove the endless conveyor belt or web on or from the frame by the quick and simple method. SOLUTION: An auxiliary support 3 is mounted on each end face of the frame 2 and the endless conveyor belt or web 1 is stretched on the frame 2 along the auxiliary supports 3 or removed from the frame 2.
