METHOD FOR CHANGING PLUG IN PIERCER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for changing a plug by installing a cylinder on the inlet side of a piercer and mechanically pushing back the plug to a revolver type plug changer on the outlet side of the piercer after rolling. SOLUTION: In the plug changing method in the piercer, a pusher movable in the vertical direction is installed on the inlet side of the piercer and the plug is changed by mechanically pushing out the plug to the revolver type plug changer on the outlet side of the piercer with the pusher after rolling.
