PURPOSE: Underground excavation plates, and a method of excavating a underground tunnel using the same are provided to prevent the ground sinking due to fragile ground or the roads, trains, structures, etc. on the ground during the excavation by effectively distributing the voltages from the upper or lateral side of the ground. CONSTITUTION: A leading excavation plate(20) and a connection excavation plate(30) of the underground excavation plates are closely adhered by laterally connecting the excavation plates in parallel. The leading excavation plate and the connection excavation plate are coupled by a coupling member(40) having a screw-shaped head part and a pin-shaped body. If only the leading excavation plate is press-fittingly moved forward, the following connection excavation plate is not necessary to press-fittingly move forward by using an extra hydraulic jack. A tunnel support(50) is installed on the space formed by press-fittingly moving forward the leading excavation plate placed on a launch platform(60) by using the hydraulic jack.
