PURPOSE: A main power device and a propelling device are provided to increase the energy efficiency and the loaded amount of freight by installing a main engine in an optional position and to improve the driving stability by distributing the positions of equipments. CONSTITUTION: Rotating force from a diesel engine(1) is transmitted to a hydraulic pump(3). Compressed oil from the hydraulic pump is adjusted its direction in a direction changing valve(4). A hydraulic motor(5) is rotated forwardly and reversely by an input value. A forward/reverse rotation value of a screw is generated by the input value. A screw(7) is driven by the reduced value in a stern propelling device(6) to connect the hydraulic motor and the screw. A hydraulic cylinder(10) pulls steering devices(8,9) and the stern propelling device. Thereby, the forward/reverse rotation of a transmission is converted quickly and noise is reduced.
