PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening implement for cultured scallops capable of being wound into a roll-like shape by together connecting fastener elements into a band-like shape, capable of preventing both ends of the fastener element from bending, and capable of highly accurately conducting positioning of the fastener element, when the roll-shaped fastening implement is charged onto a cartridge and the fastening elements are automatically positioned with an automatic positioning device. SOLUTION: This cultured scallop fastening implement is composed of the fastener elements 1 the each of which has a front inserting part 3 and a barb 5 on the front part of a rod-shaped shaft 2 formed out of a resin, or the like, and further has a rear inserting part 4 and the other barb 6 on the rear part, wherein many fastener elements are aligned in such a manner that their shafts are paralleled to each other, and the front part and the rear part of the fastener element are respectively connected with flexible connecting strands 10, 11, so that the many fastener elements are together connected with the flexible connecting strands and formed into the band-like shape.
