PRINT CONTROLLER AND PRINT CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously print a plurality of print jobs in a lump without stopping a printing operation as a print control technology for a high speed printer. SOLUTION: This print controller is provided with a spool for spooling data obtained by developing print data received from a host device into data such as a bit map and a plurality of print jobs, and for storing a data capacity corresponding to the maximum number of pages or sheet length which can be set in a printer device. Then, the number of pages or sheet length to be printed in a batch are set, and when the spooled data quantity reaches the set number of pages or sheet length, the print data are outputted to a printer device.
