PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronous motor controller which can perform stable control by reducing heat generation of a motor and is free of drop in the output torque and can perform stable control, even with respect to the ripples of power voltage. SOLUTION: This motor controller gets a phase-d current command value I DMAX at maximum load which puts the terminal voltage of the motor at maximum load within its maximum output voltage, according the number of revolutions of the motor, and a phase-d current command value I DMIN at minimum load which puts the terminal voltage of the motor at no-load within the maximum output voltage of itself. This makes a value, where the two phase-d current command values I DMAX and I DMIN are inserted, into a phase-d current command I DCMD, according to the magnitude of the torque command TCMD. Hereby, this can perform stable control even at no-load high-speed rotation. When the load is small, this can reduce the phase-d current, and a current required to generate the same torque becomes small, and the efficiency increases, and this can reduce heat generation of the motor. This can perform stable control, even with respect to the ripples of power voltage by changing the above phase-d current command values I DMAX and I DMIN, according to the ripple of the power voltage. |
