A disc brake caliper (10), including a housing (11) and an anchor bracket, which are connected for relative movement during brake actuation. The housing (11) has a bridge section for bridging, in use, a disc brake rotor (16), and a pair of brake mounting portions which extend substantially perpendicular to the bridge section for disposal in use, on either side of a disc brake rotor (16) and for mounting of brake pads (14, 15) thereagainst on opposite sides of the rotor (16), in facing relationship therewith. The caliper (10) further including a hydraulic service brake actuator (13) and an electric parking brake actuator (12). Each of the actuators (12, 13) including actuating means (19, 24) for actuation against the rear (23) of a first of the pair of brake pads (14) for displacing that pad (14) away from the respective mounting portion and into engagement with one side of the rotor (16). The positions of actuation of the respective actuating means (19, 24) against the rear (23) of the first brake pad (14) being spaced apart.
