A carriage (3) is guided along a circulating profiled guide (1) by means of outer, matching-profiled runner rollers (5) and inner runner support rollers (7). The runner roller is mounted in an elastically-tensioned elastomeric mounting (15) and is radially pre-tensioned so that the runner roller is pressed against the guide to produce contact force. When pre-tensioned, the profiled roller axle (9) is at right angles to a profiled guide axis.
