发明名称 Magnetisches Vielfach-Verschiebungsregister
摘要 911,548. Code telegraphy. PHILIPS ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. April 13, 1959 [April 16, 1958], No. 12439/59. Class 40 (3). [Also in Group XIX] A multiple magnetic shift register comprises a common series of memory cores and a number of individual series of memory cores associated with a corresponding number of sources of information, information received in an individual series being transferred with a oneplace shift to the common series and then transferred back to the individual series, the transfers being effected at the occurrence of pulses supplied by a common pulse distributer. The invention is applied to the reception of telegraph signals, which may be distorted, and their subsequent re-transmission or recording. Fig. 1 shows two telegraph lines TA, TB and their associated individual series of memory cores KA1-KA8, KB1-KB8. A pulse distributer PV1 supplies pulses to reading and recording conductors such as HAL 1 , HAS 1 at a rate of 15 pairs of pulses for the average duration of each element of the telegraph signal. The relationship of these pulses to an example of a telegraph signal is shown in Fig. 3. While no signal occurs on line TA gates P and PA are open and cores KA1-KA8, and therefore the cores K1-K8 at each connection thereto, are maintained in the condition shown in lines a-c of Fig. 2. When, however, a start pulse arrives on line TA, gates P and PA close and the individual and common series of memory cores respond to successive pairs of pulses from the distributer in the manner shown in Fig. 2. Cores K2-K5 comprise a counter which goes through a cycle every 15 pulses and cores K6-K8 recycle every 7 pulses. At the mid-point of each cycle of K2-K5, coincidence gate CS1 supplies a pulse to core K9 and so to core KA9. By the interrelationship of gate PA and circuit CS1, core K9 assumes a state which corresponds to the state of telegraph line TA. At the 98th pulse coincidence gate CS2 receives pulses simultaneously from K6-K8 and CS1 and restores the shift registers to the rest state, which is maintained until the next start signal is received. The information received may be re-transmitted by a trigger unit TU, Fig. 1, or may be supplied to a regenerative telegraph repeater, Fig. 4. The horizontal conductors running through the series of memory cores are pulsed sequentially by a distributer with a repetition time corresponding to one element of a telegraph signal. The elements of the signal are sent from the individual series KA10-KA14 to the common series K10-K14 and back again with a one-place shift. When the start element is read out of KA14 a read-out pulse is applied to all elements K10-K14 to transfer the readings simultaneously to a register KA15-KA19 for the control of a perforator or other register. Specification 911,547 is referred to.
