PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor or the like, with which optimal character registration can be performed at all the time without increasing development costs or maintenance man-hour and the print performance of a two-byte font or the like can be improved. SOLUTION: A locale ID held by an OS on the information processor is discriminated and while referring to the discriminated locale ID, the number of registered characters in a fixed area and a variable area is determined. Then, corresponding to the determined number of registered characters, the font of high use frequency on the relevant information processor is registered in the fixed area of a printer and the font of lower use frequency on the relevant information processor than that of the font registered in the fixed area is registered in the variable area. |
