PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To receive electronic mail even during movement without worrying about a power source. SOLUTION: A provider electronic mail server 2 is selected through a retail terminal 1 and identification information on a user is sent to the selected provider electronic mail server 2 together with the mail address of the retail terminal 1; and the provider electronic mail server 2 receives the sent electronic mail in response to the transmission, the user writes the received electronic mail to a storage medium 4 loaded in the retail terminal 1, and the charge for the use of the retail terminal 1 is distinctively shown. The provider electronic mail server 2 receives the identification information from one of a plurality of retail terminals 1 and the mail address of the retail terminal 1, selects electronic mail corresponding to the identification information out of previously stored pieces of electronic mail, and sends the selected electronic mail to the retail terminal 1 according to the received mail address of the retail terminal 1. |
