PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out paper feeding action of a recording sheet inexpensively and favorably. SOLUTION: A paper feeding control part is provided for feeding paper with the shortest or the longest paper feeding interval chosen in response to the paper length detected by a paper feeding part 25, regardless of the paper length information sent form a higher device 11, even if paper length information sent from the higher device 11 is different from the size of a recording paper S actually set in the paper feeding part 25, so that the shortest throughput paper feeding from the first sheet is enabled without causing a jam.
