The support foot comprises a vertical tube (3) welded to a baseplate (1) and provided with an inner spindle (10), and at the top is shaped to form an inwards pointing stop (5) at an angle of about 45 degrees. Below the stop there is an elastomer braking element (8), a collar nut (6) on the spindle, as well as a spacer tube (9) pressed into the vertical tube to absorb compressive forces and to accommodate the spindle with its locknut (11) and an additional elastomer braking element (12). The height adjustment of the spindle is thereby locked by the locknut and fixes the outer lining tube (16) during continuous vertical adjustment (A-B).
