PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission power control method and a system in a CS (radio base station) for a mobile communication system which can rationally save transmission power in a CS and reduce interference with other CSs without complicating the mobile communication system. SOLUTION: In the transmission power control method which controls transmission power in the radio base station for the mobile communication system by which radio communications is made between radio base stations in each region in plural service areas and mobile stations, the above problem is solved by information communication state of other radio base stations obtained from transmission signals received from other radio base stations and the transmission power control method of the radio base station for the mobile communication system which controls transmission power of the own station based on the relation of received power of the other radio base stations.
