PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a renting managing method which enables a person who desires to rent out video contents to safely and excellently rent out them at a low price as early as possible, by using a multimedia terminal. SOLUTION: This method has steps (S1, CS1) of confirming that the member number and password of the person who desires to rent out video contents which are inputted from the multimedia terminal 3 coincide with the previously registered contents at a video rental managing center, steps (S2, CS2) of outputting a renting menu of video contents by the multimedia terminal 3, a step (CS3) of sending at least the title of video contents selected from the renting menu by the multimedia terminal 3, a step (CS5) of reading the selected video contents out of a video contents file and sending them out by the video renting managing center, and a step (S9) of writing the received video contents to a repeatedly rewritable storage medium by the multimedia terminal 3. |
