A backflow socket (80) is pre-fitted in a passage aperture before the valve housing is assembled, so that with housing completed, its end face facing the valve closure element (66) projects into the pressure chamber (60) only for a distance, which is sufficient so that the pretension of the pressure spring (82) is lower than the tension required to lift the valve closure element off the end face of the backflow socket. The housing is then assembled, and in a final stage, the socket is moved from its pre-assembly position in longitudinal direction by a distance, so that pretension of the spring is increased to the reference pressure required to lift the valve closure element.
