PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a steam vulcanization apparatus capable of dispensing with lapping to simplify a vulcanizing process and capable of shortening a work time. SOLUTION: A steam supply pipe 2 and a compressed air supply pipe 3 are connected to a hermetically closed vulcanizer 1 through valves 6 and 9 and control valves 7 and 10. A circulating pump 11 and a heat exchanger 14 are successively connected to the lower part of the vulcanizer 1 by a pipeline 8 and the outlet of the heat exchanger 14 is connected to the upper part of the vulcanizer 1 by a pipeline 15. The branch pipe 21 branched from the steam supply pipe 2 is connected to the heat exchanger 14. By supplying steam and compressed air into the vulcanizer 1 under a predetermined pressure, vulcanization is performed at an arbitrary temperature under arbitrary pressure corresponding to the partial pressures of steam and compressed air. |
