PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack for a centrifuge which can dewater a slide glass without using the centrifuge of special structure and to attain miniaturization of the centrifuge. SOLUTION: The rack of the slide glass for the centrifuge has a slide glass accommodating recessed part opened upward, has a flange at an upper outer peripheral surface. The centrifuge using the rack forms on a rotor an inclined surface an upper peripheral edge of which is inclined upward with a proper angle and further forms a square hole for inserting and fitting the rack in the inclined surface.
