FIELD: general-purpose air, gas, and water systems mainly used for preparing explosion and fire safe mixtures. SUBSTANCE: apparatus that may be used for preparing gas-liquid mixtures and delivering them under high pressure to various locations including enclosed spaces wherein inert gas medium is produced to prevent explosion and fire has screw compressor, gas preparation unit whose outlet is connected through air main to gas inlet of gas booster pump, outlet of the latter communicating with separator whose gas outlet functions as apparatus outlet and whose liquid outlet communicates with tank; it also has backup pump whose inlet is connected to this tank and outlet, to liquid inlet of gas booster pump; tank is provided with gas producer whose inlet is connected to outlet of screw compressor and outlet, to inlet of gas preparation unit; tank is also provided with additional gas supply line connected to air main through adjustable valve and used to feed gas from external source.
