An upper assembly (10') comprises: (i) a plastic plate (141a) with radial reinforcing ribs (141b) and a thrust surface for a pneumatic spring membrane; (ii) a coupling member; (iii) connector(s) (46') forming a passage through (141a) for a pneumatic inlet and/or outlet; and (iv) an assembly component (44) fixed to (141a) on the opposite side to its thrust surface and to a base (151). (46') and coupling member are fixed to (141a). An upper assembly (10') consists of a plastic plate (141a) with radial reinforcing ribs (141b), having a thrust surface on one side for a pneumatic spring membrane, a coupling member, at least one connector (46') forming a passage through the plate for a pneumatic inlet and/or outlet, and an assembly component (44) fixed to the plate and designed to anchor it to the vehicle. The connectors and coupling member are fixed to the plate, and the assembly component is fixed to a base (151) that is in turn fixed to the plate on the opposite side to its thrust surface.
