PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a sound insulation effect and durability of sound absorbing material in a casing in a power generating device having a cooling air inlet for cooling an engine and a generator provided in the side plate of a power generating device casing. SOLUTION: The engine 11, the generator 12, a fuel tank 13, and the controller 26 of the power generating device are disposed in the casing, and a baffle plate 100 is disposed between a radiator 17 for cooling the engine 11 and the mufflers 22 and 23 of the engine 11 to protect the mufflers 22 and 23 against cooling air and reduce pale smoke discharged from the engine 11 as well as to smoothen the flow of cooling air inside the casing while preventing the mufflers 22 and 23 from being overheated.
