PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit only one or more indices to a recipient even when the image processor reads many image data so as to reduce a load imposed on a network and eliminate the need for the recipient to receive a huge amount of the data, allows the recipient to request the image processor to transmit only required image data to the recipient, allows the recipient to receive only the desired image data according to re-transmission, efficiently compresses image data so as to have only to store or transmit a small amount of the data with high image quality. SOLUTION: The image processor is characterized in to be configured such that an input device 2701 reads a plurality of images, a storage device 2703 stores the read images, a reduction/composition section 2704 reduces/composing a plurality of the stored images to produce one or more reduced/composed images and the image processor transmits the reduced/composed images via an interface 2705 via a prescribed communication medium. |
