PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate troublesomeness that a user must release a manner mode to check or select an incoming melody after setting the manner mode and to eliminate unnecessary communication expenses for this operation with respect to a mobile phone which has various manner mode setting/release functions and a function which connects the mobile phone to a site of the Internet to allow check and selection of incoming melodies. SOLUTION: When audition and selection of incoming melodies are performed by key operation after the manner mode is set, a control part allows check and selecting operation with the manner mode set or after temporary release of the manner mode.
