<p>An image processing apparatus for detecting an object image indicating an object to be detected from a plurality of image data sets acquired. The apparatus includes frequency component calculation means for calculating a frequency component of a plurality of template images corresponding to an object to be detected in any of the plurality of the image data sets and a frequency component of the plurality of image data sets, phase difference calculation means for calculating a phase component difference between a frequency component of image data when a predetermined position on the template image is correlated to a predetermined position of the image data and a frequency component of the corresponding template image for each of the frequencies and for each of the plurality of the image data sets, and object image detection means for detecting an object image from the plurality of image data sets according to the phase component difference.</p> |
