The present invention relates to a plant-type feces and urine deodorant which, when orally administered to a living body, has an effect of reducing the odor of feces and urine discharged from the living body, and which is safe. The plant-type feces and urine deodorant of the invention contains: (1) a fermentation liquid or a dried solid thereof, the fermentation liquid being produced by inoculating Bacillus subtilis or Bacillus natto into a liquid medium which contains rice bran or the like, soybean or the like, a carbon source and water, and by culturing it and filtering it; (2) a tree component extract liquid made using at least one of cedar, cypress and pine as a raw material, or a dried solid of the tree component extract liquid; and (3) at least one selected from a tea leaf extract liquid or a dried solid thereof, an Umbelliferae plant extract liquid or a dried solid thereof, or a mushroom extract liquid or a dried solid thereof. The deodorant reduces odor of feces and urine when orally administered to a living body. Since the deodorant employs natural substances as raw materials, the deodorant is safe to living bodies. Furthermore, since the deodorant produces the effect when taken by a living body, the deodorant prevents production of feces odor before defecation, thereby achieving an excellent deodorizing effect. <IMAGE> |
