SYSTEM FOR CONFIRMING VISITOR USING VIDEO CAMERA AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A system for confirming a visitor using a video camera and a method thereof are provided to accurately recognize the visitor and transmit an image of the visitor to a cellular phone in resident's absence. CONSTITUTION: A system for confirming a visitor using a video camera includes a buzzer(2) generating a visit signal of the visitor and generating a start signal for picking up an image of the visitor; a camera(4) for picking up the image of the visitor; a visitor confirming terminal(6) signal-processing the image of the visitor for outputting through an LCD(34) or transmitting video data to a specific mobile terminal if the image of the visitor is captured in state that number of the specific mobile terminal is preliminarily designated; wire and wireless relays executing signal relay to transmit visitor video data from the visitor confirming terminal to the designated mobile terminal; and the mobile terminal outputting visitor video data transmitted from the visitor confirming terminal via the wire and wireless relays.
