摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic observing device capable of easily orientating an ultrasonotomographic image. SOLUTION: An electric signal from a coil 24, information on rotation of a motor 33 from an encoder 32 and position information showing the position of a reference position signal oscillator 6 are inputted to a position correction amount arithmetic circuit 42. According to the input, the rotating position of the motor 33 when an ultrasonic vibrator 23 and the coil 24 are directed to the reference position signal oscillator 6 is calculated and the calculation information is outputted to an ultrasonic image generating circuit 41 through an image direction adjusting circuit 43. When an output signal is inputted to the ultrasonic image generating circuit 41, an ultrasonotomographic image is generated according to an electric signal from the ultrasonic vibrator 23 and a motor rotation information from the encoder 32. An image signal is obtained from the ultrasonic image whose direction is adjusted so that the direction of the reference position signal oscillator 6 on the ultrasonic image is the upper side of a screen as a predetermined direction according to the information from the image direction adjusting circuit 43. The signal is outputted to a monitor 5.
