PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope capable of preventing inconvenience caused by contraction of a tube body built in an inserting part when performing high pressure steam sterilization. SOLUTION: Axial direction tensile force is applied to an assembly 50 provided by combining a spiral tube 37 with a net-like tube 38, and an assembly 50a drawn by a length Z more than a natural length state is formed. A melted resin for forming a skin layer 39 is extrusively molded with the drawn assembly 50a as a core material. This assembly 50a is covered with the resin, and hardening of the resin is waited. A desired flexible tube 15 covered with the skin layer 39 is formed in the assembly 50 drawn by the Z more than the natural length state by hardening of the resin. The length Z at this time is a quantity of satisfying a condition of a contraction quantity Y of the flexible tube 15 by high pressure steam sterilization >= contraction quantity X1 of an air supply tube (>= contraction quantity X2 of a water supply tube, >= contraction quantity X3 of a tube for a treating tool), and is a value larger than at least the contraction quantity Y.
